Beach after the big sargasso weed influx in 2015. Tropical and Subtropical waters of the
world except west coast of the Americas; Grand Banks
and mouth of Bay of Fundy to Falkland Islands in
west Atlantic. Know to inhabit a depth range of
0-3500 feet. Species was tentatively
identified by Dr. Rafael Lemaitre
