Orange Lumpy Encrusting Sponge

Ulosa ruetzleri

Orange sponge that encrusts. Has the appearance of fine netting over the body of the sponge. The excurant openings are transparent white. Do not confuse with the Orange Icing Sponge. Not highly common. Found in a variety of environments from reef crevaces to mangrove roots.
