Circle Marked Brittle Star
Ophioderma cinereumA large aggressive star found in areas of sand and fine rock rubble, hiding under rocks during the day. Light chocolate colored arms are marked with dark brown bands and tiny circles. The body is also marked with circles around the perimeter of the body disc. The disc is solid chocolate brown and can get to almost 1.5 inches across and arms reaching almost 6 inches. This star is also known as the Chocolate Brittle Star
