Linckia guildingii

This Sea Star has the incredible ability to re-grow an entire body. If an arm get severed, leaving behind it's body and other arms, it will regrow another body and arms. They can have as few as 4 or as many as 7 arms. They are usually orange to red, but can be purple or muted red. Hide during the day and come out at night.

Inhabit waters at depths from 8 to 125 feet.
