Encrusting Social Tunicate

Symplegma viride

These tiny (1/4 inch) individuals live in clusters, rows and groups. Found growing in small sheltered areas on vertical walls. Depth 3-4 feet. Their syphon openings seem to have a contrasting color to the body.
