Furry Sea Cucumber

Astichopus multifidus

One of the larger sea cucumbers found in our waters. So called because the look furry and their skins look loose on their bodies. Their backs are blotched in brown or grey spikes and sometimes white contrasting colors. These were found in 10 or more feet of water on sandy bottoms.
