Fused Staghorn Coral
Acropora proliferaThis species is believed to be a hybrid of the Elkhorn Coral and the Staghorn Coral. The growth patterns of the hybrids may tend to look more like the Staghorn Coral, but with a more dense branching pattern from the center of the colony, or more like Elkhorn Coral with thick long branches but with split 'fingers" on the ends.
