Greenbanded Goby

Elacatinus multifasciatum

It is always a thrill to find a tiny fish like this Greenbanded Goby, which are uncommon to see probably because of their 1-1.5 inch size and the fact that they try to stay hidden under urchins, rocks and sponges. They are a shallow water fish, being found in depths as little as one foot.
