Mottled tunicate

Distaplia bermudensis

(Most likely)tunicates are fastinating and varied creatures. More complex than you would imagine. They vary in size, shape, color and habitat. They should not be confused with sponges, which do not have the ability to close their siphons. These tiny animals live in the large communities but each individual tunicate has a nervous, digestive, reproductive and a circulatory system.
