Abudefduf taurusA member of the Damselfish Family, the night Sergeant could be mistaken for a Sergeant Major except The Night Sergeant has no yellow on his body. The body looks heavier, is yellowish tan with five dark grey bars. His eyebrows and eyes often appear blue. They can grow to about eight inches. They prefer shallow, rocky areas with heavy surge. They are very shy and move away quickly by skirting around the rocks when approached .
