Rough Fileclam

Tucked away in the hidden cracks and crevices of rocky shorelines reef is where the Rough File Clams live. The tentacles can be bright red, orqnge or white. they feed like other filter feeders, catching their meal as it floats by in the water stream by using it's tentacles to snag its' meals. I have not seen any File Clams that were swimming or not hidden away.
