Smooth Flower Coral GALLERY

Eusmilia fastigiata

This stony coral grows colonies made up of a group of long stalks that form mounds. They can be brown to yellowish tan with an iridescent blue, blue-green tinting. I've observed that some colonies in shallower water have died off in recent years. The stalks grow a few inches tall and colonies can span over 2 feet in diameter.
