Found in rock and rubble areas, hiding in recesses and under rocks. Colors vary from reddish brown to sometimes pale yellow or white. The polygonal pattern around their skin tags, called tubercles, is a distinguishing feature. They are in the same ORDER of Mollusks as the Apricot Sidegill Slug but can be twice the size, up to 5.5 inches.
