Yellow Sea Whip GALLERY
Pterogorgia citrinaA lovely and delicate coral, I've found them in areas of back reefs in areas of sandy bottoms in depths of at least 4 feet. Branches are yellow to greenish color. Edges of polyp openings are purple. Coral polyps are cream to white colored. They remind me of rows of Christmas lights.
